NISTCOL is an In-service teachers' training college and is an affiliate of the University of Zambia. Currently, NISTCOL is the Government College with the highest number of Programmes.

The college has well qualified and competent lecturers and our graduates exhibit a high degree of competency in planning and classroom practice. Our courses prepare teachers to handle effectively and proficiently both basic and high school classes.

We are located 45km East of Lusaka along the great East Road, 7km south of Chongwe along the D149.

ICDL Course to Start in October

International Computer Driving License (ICDL)is for everyone: businesses, educationalist, students. There are seven modules including computer basics, word-processing and the internet. Four out of the seven earns you the ICDL-START certificate. NISTCOL will offer the ICDL course starting October 2010.

Satellite college tutors begin UNISA course

VVOB has facilitated the enrolment for a certificate course in distance education for a number of tutors in satellite colleges. This certificate course will help these colleges manage their distance education programmes better.
